Nearly time to leave!

So yesterday I sent my flight details to Yummy Jobs and Disney. I got replies basically just saying thanks.

Today I recieved an email from disney with information about all the important documents to bring and what to do once we are at the airport etc. Most of it I already new but this time instead of waiting for people from disney to find us they have a welcome desk. Also today I got a text saying that my passport should be delivered tomorrow.

A long boring day!

Yesterday I had my visa appointment in London. So I got the train to Liverpool street and then the tube to Bond street. From there it was a short walk to the American Embassy and I didn't get lost like last year. So the first person checked my documents and then the second person checked my passport. He looked at it for ages so that was a bit scary. Then I went through security and then took my keys because they have a flashing light on them. So I got given a locker number. Then I continued to the next person who scanned my documents and gave me a number. Then I sat for ages waiting for my number to be called out. Eventually it was and I went to the window where they looked at my documents and made sure I had everything. Then they scanned my fingerprints. After that I sat back down to wait for my number to be called again. I had to fill in a sheet of paper with my address so that they can return my passport. This is when I met Sophie who is also going to disney on the 7th. She's really nice and this made the second part go a bit quicker. We were some of the last people in the embassy and finally our numbers were called. So when I went up to the window it was just to say that my visa had been approved. Then I had to queue to pay the postage of my visa. After that I said goodbye to Sophie and she's on my flight so i'll see her in a week and a half. Then I picked up my keys and left to go home. In the end it took about 3 hours but at least it's done and i'll be going soon :)

A quiet couple of weeks!

Nothing much has really happened since i've been back in cambridge. I recieved my package from disney/UCF with all the stuff I need for my visa. Other than that I have been filling in forms and paying money. Today is my visa interview and hopefully everything will go smoothly but today will involve a lot of waiting.

Goodbye thorpe park!

Yesterday was my last day of work at thorpe park which was a bit sad. It wasn't the best day either. I wasn't feeling so great because we went to the pub the night before. The morning was fine though nothing much unusual. Then we went down to admissions after lunch to pick up their bags. Nick and Josh helped carry them back although i'm sure they carried less than me and Dhara. Nevermind! The problems came when we were trying to balance in the afternoon. First of all we found out that something hadn't been put on the board but then we were still £500 short. It took us over half an hour to realise that it had been miss counted mainly due to Anitta. So we ended up leaving 20 mins late. It would happen on my last day wouldn't it. So after that me, Nicole and Dhara went to buy stuff for the BBQ. Was a good night although I was very tired.

Today I went to Thorpe Park for a change lol. Me, Nicole and her boyfriend went. It was so nice because it was quiet we went on most of the rides. Now the packing has to begin :(

Boring!

This week has been pretty boring because the schools have now gone back and Thorpe Park is empty. We have spent hours counting coins and cleaning the office. On thursday though Karen broke the coin wrapper so now we have to count all the coins by hand which is not fun.e

Yesterday I met up with Clare in Oxford Street. We spent a long time in topshop before going to lunch at Garfunkels. Garfunkels was horrible we waited for ages and the food was not good. But after that we did some more shopping before going to the Ice Bar. The Ice Bar was nice although cold. You get a cloak and some gloves but after a while it gets cold. You also get a cocktail in a glass made of ice which is cool but it melts as you drink it.

Today at work they gave me a card and a cake. The cake is lovely and so chocolately. I can't believe it's my last day tomorrow.

A long week!

So this week I worked 6 days. After going to Thorpe Park yet again on my day off i'm now exhausted and really looking forward to my day off tomorrow. This week has been pretty normal although at the weekend I had to say goodbye to Robert because he has next weekend off. It just makes me sad to realise that i'm leaving soon. Today there were only 4 of us in the office which was a bit strange because there have been 5 of us for ages.

As for disney stuff. I should be receiving my visa forms and stuff soon. Yummy jobs sent and email saying they were on there way. Although I think mine will be late because I had to resend all my forms.
